Review: Bad Romeo by Leisa Rayven

Bad Romeo (Starcrossed #1) by Leisa Rayven
Genre(s): New Adult Contemporary Romance
Format: Ebook

While performing the greatest love story of all time, they discovered one of their own…
Cassie Taylor was just another acting student with big dreams at her prestigious performing arts college…then she met Ethan Holt. She was the good girl actress. He was the bad boy on campus. But one fated casting choice for Romeo and Juliet changed it all. Like the characters they were playing on stage, Cassie and Ethan’s epic romance seemed destined. Until it ended in tragedy when he shattered her heart.
Now they’ve made it to Broadway where they’re reunited as romantic leads once again—and their passionate scenes force them to confront the heartbreaking lows and pulse-pounding highs of their intense college affair. For Ethan, losing Cassie was his biggest regret—and he’s determined to redeem himself. But for Cassie, even though Ethan was her first and only great love, he hurt her too much to ever be trusted again. The trouble is, working with him again reminds her that people who rub each other the wrong way often make the best sparks. And when it comes to love, sometimes it’s the things that aren’t good for us that are the most irresistible.
Don’t miss Leisa Rayven's Bad Romeo, the intoxicating romance beloved by over two million fans online—a story that’ll captivate you and hold you breathless until the final page.

MY REVIEW

5/5 STARS

Oh this book. I read it last months and I'm still baffled with the ending. I didn't know whether to throw it or cry. This book sucked me in and didn't let go! I found my self reading into the early hours of morning. It's a real page-turner for sure. This book as a dual timeline between now and six years ago which was very intriguing because I wanted to know so badly what had happened!

Six years ago, Cassie Taylor and Ethan Holt Had unbelievable passion and talent. Both were incredible performers. They met at an audition for the most prestigious performing arts school in the country. Their chemistry landed them the lead roles in Romeo & Juliet after making it in. Not only that, they were falling in love. They fell hard too. Present day, Ethan and Cassie have made it huge in the industry as famous actors. Cassie is convinced she has moved on, until she is cast as lead in a big romance production with none other than Ethan himself. Cassie wants nothing to do with him, he had broke her heart, but Ethan will do anything to get her back.

We constantly switch back and forth in time. Back then, the love-hate relationship starts with just hate. We are left in the dark as to why and how he broke her heart until nearly the end. We only know he regrets it with everything in him. After finding out, we could only understand where Cassie stood trying so hard not to get attached or falling for his attempts to win her back.

I applaud Leisa Rayven at all the tension she was able to create between the two. Not only did the main characters stick, I found myself LOVING the side characters. Her novel made me experience everything from tummy-hurting-laughter to sobbing to OMG WHY JUST NO!! *throws book* Ian's I loved every bit of it! It was such a good Swoonuary read because gah! Let me know your thoughts in the comments!

This Is her chance to define her own destiny and try to save thee world.   MY THOUGHTS: If I had to describe this book in one word it would be captivating. I have never read anything quite like it. The concept, the most unique twist on a zombie-like-apocalypse (emphasis on like) I’ve ever encountered, was amazing! Sea captains, curses, action, romance, morally

Reds- fire             The unaffected adults have put the kids in basically what are concentration camps. Ruby escapes with the help of a friendly adult and meets people along the way of trying to find the cure and free the camps. She faces plenty of difficulties along the way. It has one of the best romances I've ever read, and is full of action. This trilogy is definitely one of my favorites of all time.  Legend by Marie Lu - This is the firs
