This book follows Lola Nolan who is a designer. She does not believe in fashion, but she does believe in costumes. Even with her crazy costumes, everything in her life was perfect, including her hot rock star boyfriend. When the dreaded Bell twins return to her neighborhood in San Fransico everything comes tumbling down.

Cricket is the twin brother of Calliope. Calliope is a national ranking figure skater hoping to attend the Olympics. She keeps him in her shadow.

Tall, gorgeous Cricket steps out of her shadow along with his messy hair. They begin having late night chats at the widows of their neighboring houses. Lola feelings for Cricket begin to resurface.

I have collected quite a few books recently and have been dying to share! In The Afterlight by Alexandra Bracken - This book is the third and final book in the Darkest Minds trilogy. It follows Ruby and the friends she makes along her journey. The children in the world have been affected by a disease giving them one of the powers below, which are categorized by colors. 1.
