My DreamCrate!

Ever dream about owning some of the items used by your favorite characters in books, movies, or video games? Well now is your chance to share your dream items with the world! Loot Crate, the monthly subscription box service, is hosting a project that is looking for fans to highlight what they would do if they had the ability to create their own Dream Crate! All fans are welcome and no item is too big to dream of and desire.

When I was first asked to do this post, I had a completely different theme planned. But in light of recent events that have happened in my personal life, I knew the only thing that seemed relevant was Friendship. If I could have a Loot Crate with anything I ever wanted inside, friendship seems like the perfect theme.

Item #1

As a proud book blogger, I couldn't have a subscription box without a book. When it came to the topic of friendship the first book that came to my mind was none other than, Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe by Benjamin Alire Sáenz!

Item #2

If you have ever spent much time here at Mallory Books, you know that it is very rare that I don't make at least one Harry Potter reference in each post. But seriously, Harry Potter is the ultimate friendship story. Also this T-shirt is a Stranger Things reference. Two of my favorite things in one!

Item #3

For the next item in my Dream Crate, I wanted to take advantage of all the creative range this project allows.

Have you ever been sitting in class, your best friend sitting across trying to tell you something without speaking. I know, the struggle. So I have created magic friendship telepathy bracelets. Fret no more, know exactly what your friend is trying to say whenever they are trying to desperately relay that secret message to you!

This project was so much fun to work on. Thank you Carly from Loot Crate for giving me the opportunity to participate in creating my own Dream Crate! Once again, we want everyone involved! So comment down below what you would want in  your Dream crate or make your own blog post and tag me! I want to hear all of your ideas!

~ Rest In Peace ~

My 2018 in Books So Far...

Hello booklovers! I decided that a wrap up of what I have read in 2018 so far would be a great way to jump back into my blog! This year started out as amazing reading year for me already. While towards the end of February I did start to dwindle off some with reading, I am still happy with what I have accomplished so far! So without further ado...

JANUARY #1- Through the Woods by Emily Carroll

I started off 2018 with some Graphic Novels. This one was so interesting and unique. Some of the stories gave me chills! I couldn't stop reading. IT was just the right amount of creepy and beautiful. The art was so amazing and I absolutely loved the color schemes.
